Where did the word orange come from?

So basically, the question here is: Are oranges called oranges because oranges are orange, or is orange called orange because oranges are orange? Well, the answer is simple. If you have an orange and it is orange, it is an orange that originated from the color orange and the oranges as fruit are orange so an orange is named after orange and oranges are orange because the fruit orange is orange so we call orange orange because the fruit is orange.
